The twice-weekly service aims to offer a convenient travel option for passengers traveling between the UAE and Russia’s fourth-largest city. This route marks the second Russian destination for Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, following the launch of direct flights to Moscow. This expansion is in line with the airline’s mission to enhance accessible travel between key international destinations and the UAE capital.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, emphasized the significance of the new route. “We are delighted to introduce this new route to Yekaterinburg, the second Russian city Air Arabia Abu Dhabi now serves after Moscow. This addition strengthens the capital’s connectivity with key destinations, enhancing travel options for our customers while contributing to the growth of the UAE’s travel and tourism industries. Our commitment remains focused on providing affordable, value-driven air travel, fostering connections between the UAE and Russia, and offering passengers more options to explore new destinations.”

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has been rapidly expanding its network since its launch, now serving a total of 29 routes directly from Abu Dhabi. The airline, which operates on a low-cost model, provides passengers with efficient, budget-friendly travel options that have contributed to the growth of tourism and business exchanges in the UAE.

This new route reflects Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s continued strategy to connect Abu Dhabi with prominent global destinations. The airline has positioned itself as a facilitator of international travel, fostering closer ties between the UAE and the world while supporting Abu Dhabi’s vision as a leading travel and tourism hub in the region.

Tickets for the new Abu Dhabi-Yekaterinburg route are now available, and the service is expected to attract significant interest from both leisure and business travelers seeking accessible travel between the two cities. The new route underscores Air Arabia’s broader commitment to meeting the needs of passengers with a reliable, affordable, and efficient travel experience.
